What can we learn from someone charged with cutting £15 Billion from health care?

Well here's a comforting development.  The South West LHIN is bringing in Jim Easton, the British National Health System Director for Improvement and Efficiency.  According to his British Department of Health biography he was  appointed to lead "the drive over £15 billion major efficiency savings."

The title of Easton's talk is "Delivering quality in tough times."

Over 600 are expected to attend the SW LHIN conference.

Another key speaker is Ontario Health Minister Deb Matthews.  Hopefully she will make clear that her  government is not pursuing a similar path for Ontario.
